EA Details Six New Districts For Need For Speed

October 27, 2015 by Carlos Chism

The company also included a screenshot of each area.

EA has provided descriptions and screenshots of the six districts in the soon-to-be-released Need For Speed. The post details the six parts of Ventura Bay, the fictional west coast USA city that serves as the game’s setting. The screen shots are embedded below.

The first of the six sections is Burnwood, which is described as a suburban and industrial town home to the best up and coming talent in the car culture world.

The second area, Crescent Mountains, is a place with “long sweeping roads [that] will take you deep into the mountains and give you spectacular views of the city below.” The mountains go all the way north into Granite spring, which is home to the Crescent Mountains Bridge.

The third section, Royal Park, sits between Burnwood and South Port. It’s the city’s main residential zone, but it is also known for its commercial district and towering buildings.

On the other side is South Port, which is the industrial hub of the city and contains many narrow roads.

After that is El Rey, another mountainous area which contains a freeway, or a mountain range that runs through Sinner’s Peak.

Finally, there’s Franklin Terrace, which is home to many tech companies, sweeping roads, and freeway connections.

Yesterday, EA announced that the game would come to its Xbox One exclusive EA Access service five days early. You can also check out the entire vehicle roster here.

Need For Speedreleases on November 3rd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC
