Ubisoft has announced via its Czech Facebook page that the PC release of Assassin's Creed: Revelations has been delayed. While the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game are still on track for a November 15 release, the PC version won't hit retailers until December 2.
"We have bad news for Assassins Creed Revelations fans," the announcement reads. "The PC version has moved to the beginning of December. Console fans will be happy to know that the PS3 and X360 releases will still be on November 15, 2011 as promised."
The two and a half week delay is a marked improvement for the franchise, which has traditionally treated its PC ports as a relatively low priority. The console releases of Assassin's Creed I, II, and Brotherhood all launched four to five months before the Windows versions were available.
Many high profile titles have recently seen their PC releases slipping behind the console versions, including Batman: Arkham City and Ubisoft's own Driver: San Francisco.
