NBA 2K16: Crossover Post Move Guide

October 10, 2015 by Stephen Daly

It’s all about timing.

YouTuber Sam Pham has posted the above video, showing you how to do the Crossover Post move in NBA 2K16.

The Go to Post Move is simple but a little tricky to master and doesn't always work even when you do. On PS4, you need to hold L2 until you get close to the paint, at which point you need to push up on the left stick towards the base line.

Let L2 go and keep pushing up to the base line before holding R2 to initiate a full speed spin. As you move towards the basket, inch the left stick to the right to get you closer. Finish off the move with square.

You need to call a quick isolation to the base line will be open for you to move on the hoop.

The most difficult part of the move is timing when to release L2 and hold R2 but you can test it out in practice mode.

If two players are coming for you when you reach the hoop, hold onto L2 again to get the defenders behind you. You'll be directly under the hoop at this point and can shoot using R2, square, and L2 to finish the move. Sometimes, holding square and L2 is enough to shoot and finish soft. This works when you're too far away from the basket to finish strong. Doing so will let you score a hook shot.

You always want to hold L2 when you finish using this move.
