Microsoft today announced a new controller for the HoloLens AR device specifically aimed at video games.
The controller doesn't have a name as of yet, VRfocus reports, but Microsoft describes it as a "wearable hologram". It seems to be a communicator which is held in the hand and relays information to the HoloLens itself, enabling the projection of holograms onto the device.
Few details are available but it's understood that software is being created specifically for the device.
HoloLens development kits will be available in early 2016 for $3,000. It's not currently known whether the video game controller will be included as standard or come as an extra.
