Deus Ex’s Animated Trailer Recreates The Series Most Iconic Scenes

Deus Ex is one of gaming's most iconic franchises. It's set in a cyberpunk setting sometime in the near future when humanity has to come to terms with cybernetic augmentations and what they mean for humanity as a whole.

The series also sees the development of advanced artificial intelligence and futuristic weapons of war.

Future earth is a chaotic place, rife with conspiracies and terroristic acts. Players take on the roles of characters like Adam Jensen and J.C. Denton to inhabit this world as the characters themselves come to grips with the reality they live in.

Today, Eidos and Square Enix released an animated short for Deus Ex to celebrate its 15th anniversary, recreating some of the most iconic moments in the series' history.

The next game in the series, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, will be out on February 23, 2016 for the Xbox One, PC and PS4.
