As is usually the tradition with items that have a boring colour, the Wii Balance Board returns in a brand new colour: Black! You might remember other items taking the same route, like the new Xbox 360 slim or even the Wii. There is no true reason Nintendo is putting this out, but it’s bound to sell at least a little bit.
While there is no price announced for the pack, it seems to go for a little bit over the price of the older white Wii Fit Plus pack, which came out in 2009.
Oddly, the black Balance Board was already being sold with the full Black Nintendo Wii console bundle. Now they just put the Balance Boards in another box and sold it as another package.
The new Black Wii Fit Plus Pack will be available from October 7th.
