Well, here we have it, PlayStation has released its first PS5 bundle that features the highly acclaimed Horizon Forbidden West. It’s one not to miss, that’s for sure. There have been reports of the bundle being spotted across stores in the UK, and of course, they have nearly sold out, which is always the case.
Horizon Forbidden West was released earlier in the year to critical acclaim, and the game is Sony’s current premier title for the console such is its popularity. It’s worth mentioning that the success of the game really is impressive, seeing as it was slightly overshadowed by a certain Elden Ring. So, this bundle will hopefully induce a little boost into the game’s growing profile.
This new PS5 bundle will set you back around $550, which is for both the standard and the digital copy of the game, but it will be less for the disc-only console. Also, the bundle represents about a $20 saving because you’re paying around $60 for the game which is around $80 in the store. Every little helps you know.
But listen up because we have another little loophole for you if you want to save even more money. The PlayStation 4 version of the game is available for a lot less, and it also comes with a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version – you might want to take advantage of that whilst you can.
You might be thinking that the US won’t have this available for some time, but you would be wrong because a Twitter user called Wario 64 (a great name by the way) has spotted that the bundle is currently available in the US as well.
The price could turn you off because it isn’t cheap, we know, but due to the shortage and difficulty of obtaining a standard PS5, this bundle offers the opportunity to get your hands on one, with the added bonus of a fantastic game. And when you finally have it, just think about all those other games you will be able to play.
