Eidos Montreal's lead narrative designer for The Missing Link, Mary DeMarle, has released a walkthrough for the upcoming DLC for Deus Ex: Human Revolution. DeMarle explains how Jensen starts the game without any weapons or ammo, with only access to performing a couple of takedowns.
Adam must sneak through the ship and find a way to arm himself before engaging the soldiers. Like the original game, players have many different ways of approaching the situation—lethal or non-lethal. And just like in the original game, solving puzzles and overcoming various obstacles will require a bit of lateral thinking.
The Missing Link takes place within the three days that Adam Jensen finds himself trapped aboard a ship manned by Belltower agents on his way to Singapore. Adam will uncover a conspiracy that goes deeper than he could even imagine.
The Missing Link is set for an October release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
