Activision Has a Solution for Last-Gen Players of Destiny: The Taken King With No Hard Drive Space

September 9, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Players who lack hard drive space to install Destiny: The Taken King can contact Activision for a nice solution.

Players whose last-gen consoles are on their last legs and lack the hard drive space to install Destiny's upcoming expansion, The Taken King, may be in luck.

Activision and Bungie have announced that players with active Destiny accounts, who also own the 20GB versions of the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles, can reach out to them for a solution.

The publisher will help out a limited number of players affected by the issue by sending out a 32GB USB 3.0 flash drive.

You'll still need to install the game on your main drive, however. A future patch will be released in the near future allowing players to install the entire game onto a secondary drive.

You can contact Activision Support and ask them for an upgrade solution if you're having this issue.
