2013’s Deadpool Being Ported to PS4 and Xbox One

September 1, 2015 by Stephen Daly

For some reason.

Activision is continuing its bizarre console porting strategy by bringing 2013's Deadpool game to PS4 and Xbox One for $49.99.

Developed by High Moon Studios, the antihero action game will launch for current-gen consoles on November 20th and will be available both at retail and digitally.

The game recently returned to the spotlight when it relaunched on Steam more than a year after being pulled from Valve's client. Activision pulled several of its Marvel games from sale on Steam, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live in January 2014, Beenox's Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, Silicon Knights' X-Men Destiny, and Raven Software's X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Bringing Deadpool to PS4 and Xbox One is a decision no doubt motivated by the upcoming movie starring Ryan Reynolds, which wades into cinemas in February 2016.
