Destiny The Taken King First Mission Gameplay Footage

Bungie has listened to fans and is taking the story seriously this time around.

We have some new footage for you from Destiny: The Taken King. This comes to us courtesy of ArrekzGaming, whom you can subscribe to on YouTube here.

This footage comes with mild spoilers, of course, but you do not have to worry about any big revelations being made here. If you want to learn more and are OK with this, keep reading below.

The first mission is set in Phobos, in a Cabal base. Unexpectedly, the Cabal sent out a distress signal to the Guardians, asking for their help. Now what would make the Cabal do that?

This mission will give players a good first look at the Taken and what they’re capable of. You can also tell, in spite of the removed cutscenes, that Bungie has listened to fans and is taking the story seriously this time around. Just hearing Erin and everyone in the base frantically shouting at you sets the tone quitew well.
