Microsoft has revealed that Kerbal Space Program will soon be seeing release on Xbox One.
Kerbal Space Program made waves in its original release on Windows, for being a playable and surprisingly accurate space exploration sim under the hood. While it’s possible to play the whole game through without being aware of this, the math and engineering behind space ship design in the game has been proven surprisingly accurate.
In fact, the game is so accurate that it’s become of interest to NASA and the SpaceX program, with actual rocket scientists investigating its merits as an educational tool.
Microsoft is reticent to share a release date or other terms for its Xbox One release, including the prospects for cross buy, cross platform play, or cross platform save.
