What Metroid Would Look Like in Unreal Engine 4

August 21, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

This video shows what Metroid might look like if it were a new generation game.

Metroid Prime: Federation Force isn't the Metroid game fans want. As a matter of fact, fans of the franchise are so disappointed by its development that they've launched a petition against it.

Instead, Metroid fans would prefer it if the series went back to its roots, offering atmospheric sci-fi action with the series' protagonist, Samus Aran.

With that in mind, one fan has put together a demonstration of what a Metroid game would look like if it were powered by Unreal Engine 4.

The video shows Samus making her way through a mysterious temple, offering views in both first- and third-person perspectives. Check it out above.
