Rise of the Triad is Steam’s Daily Deal With 80% Off

July 27, 2015 by Vanessa Lopa

The game was fun enough to be worth its full price, but I guess we’re supposed to use the money we save to buy the soundtrack.

Rise of the Triad– the 2013 reboot, not the classic 1995 version – is Steam’s Daily Deal! They’re taking 80% off the price to celebrate the release of the game’s soundtrack.

Not willing to be branded a boring remake, Rise of the Triad stepped up and did its name proud. Interceptor Entertainment and Apogee Software gave us a game that had just enough nostalgia but served up something fresh as well. It’s loads of fun if all you’re after is to be entertained by what’s going on in the game, without paying too much attention to the campaign or the competitive online matches.

The Rise of the Triad soundtrack has been in the works for roughly two years, and is now available on Steam for $6.99. It will soon be available on iTunes, Google Play, and Spotify.
