C&C-Inspired Act of Aggression Beta Starts Today

July 16, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

The RTS from Eugen Systems is available to play today.

Act of Aggression can be played starting today, provided you pre-order the game ahead of its release on September 2, 2015.

The Command & Conquer-inspired RTS is designed with the philosophies of real-time strategy games from the late '90s and invites players to take on the roles of generals of armies that duke it out in skirmish.

Developer Eugen Systems announced that the beta for the game will start today at 9am PST.

In the beta, two factions will be available for players to play, including the Chimera and the US Army. A third faction called The Cartel is planned for release at a later stage in the beta.

The title is available for purchase at a 15% discount right now on Steam.

You can watch a livestream of the game today as the developers plan to show it off on Twitch at 10:15am PST, where they'll be taking questions and giving answers about the game.
