Obi-Wan Kenobi Series Reveals First Look

March 9, 2022 by Todd Black

Hello There

Ever since The Mandalorian changed the game in terms of how Star Wars could be in regards to quality (because the sequel movies definitely didn’t have that…), Disney went full tilt trying to expand their arsenal of Star Wars Disney+ shows. Late last year we had The Book of Boba Fett come around, and now we’re only a few months away from the next one to arrive: Obi-Wan Kenobi. And playing the Jedi Master once again is the one and only Ewan McGregor.
And now, fans are getting a first look at both him and some of the other characters that are going to be in the series. First up, a look at Obi-Wan Kenobi himself:

Oh, and Disney got in on the action by posting a magazine cover featuring him:

A you can see, this is meant to be a bit older of an Obi-Wan as this takes place during the events of Revenge of the Sith and a New Hope. At the end of the third movie and the beginning of the fourth, Obi-Wan was on Tatooine in order to ensure Luke Skywalker survived. But that’s about 30 years of stories that can still be told.

And apparently, part of that story is not only getting to meet Darth Vader (technically for the first time) but being hunted by Inquisitors (whom we met in Star Wars Rebels and Jedi Fallen Order). One of them will be played by Moses Ingram’s, who also got some images released of her character, Reva.

The character is described as “ruthlessly ambitious,” with Ingram explaining that she, the Grand Inquisitor and Darth Vader “share a common dark-side goal. They’re on the same team.”

And one of the images that features Reva shows her meeting a key person from Star Wars lore: Uncle Owen. So things are going to get very interesting when the series arrives on May 25th.
