Runic Games will reveal its next game at PAX Prime.
The developer of Torchlight and Torchlight 2 has announced that they plan to unveil their latest project at the upcoming event, which takes place in Seattle from August 28 through 31.
"We're going to be at PAX Prime this year to show our new project," said the developer on its official forums.
Runic Games confirmed that the game they plan to unveil isn't the mobile version of Torchlight, which was recently announced for mobile platforms. Likewise, the new game isn't a console port of either Torchlight or its sequel. It's something completely new.
It's not known whether the new game will be Torchlight 3, or something completely different. There's a chance they may go with a massively multiplayer online game like Mythos, a game that they were developing back when the developers were at Flagship Studios before that studio disbanded.
