Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Mode Gets New Trailer

July 9, 2015 by Michael Fossbakk

Set in the 1940s.

A new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s Zombies mode has been released by developer Treyarch.

Zombies mode will be titled “Shadows of Evil” this time around and, like the rest of Black Ops 3, is being developed by the original Call of Duty Zombies mode developer Treyarch. It stars Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park, Independence Day, The Grand Budapest Hotel), Heather Graham (Boogie Nights, The Hangover, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me), Neal McDonough (Captain America: The First Avenger, Band of Brothers), and Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Sons of Anarchy).

The trailer is set to jazz number and opens with the line, “Your sins serve only as an invitation – an invitation to an evil beyond your imagination.” The four characters take turns exchanging one-liners for why they believe this zombie outbreak happened. A gumball machine is introduced as a mechanic through which the player characters will be able to receive paranormal special abilities to use in the fight against the zombie horde.

Here is the official description:

“Set in the 1940s, four unwitting characters are brought together under mysterious circumstances. Unravel the secrets and explore a massive world in the deepest Zombies experience to date.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be available on November 6, 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows PC. A multiplayer beta is scheduled first for PS4 on August 19.
