Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Gets Its Most Bizarre Gear Sets Yet

July 9, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Play as a Samurai in Call of Duty.

There are tons of supply drops for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare that add new gear sets, but none of them look quite as out there as the ones Sledgehammer has just announced for the game.

Five new gear sets are set to drop later today and are exclusive to supply drops. While existing sets do look cool, most of them do not alter the visuals beyond reskinning existing gear. The new ones are set to offer completely new looks and give players a chance to intimidate their enemies by dressing up ridiculously in combat.

The new sets are called the Samurai, Arachnid, Deep Sea Diver, Luchador, and Clown. Each of them exactly resembles the names they're called—so, yes, you'll be able to dress up like a Samurai in Call of Duty.

The gear is set to first drop on the Xbox One, followed by the PC and PS4 at a later date.

Check them out below.
