Pit People is The Behemoth’s Upcoming Turn-Based Strategy Game

July 8, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

The Behemoth’s upcoming game now has a name.

The Behemoth, best known for BattleBlock Theater and Castle Crashers, is working on a new game. Formerly dubbed Game 4 (it's their fourth game), the project has been officially unveiled as Pit People.

Pit People follows an entirely different concept than previous titles released by The Behemoth, and is set to live up to the studio's reputation for originality in design and aesthetic.

With Pit People, players control a number of heroes who must band together as a team to conquer every obstacle set before them in a giant arena.

Pit People is designed as a 'strategic game of positioning' for one player, two players in co-op, or up to four players in 2v2. It'll be out on Steam and Xbox One in the indeterminate future.

The game's name reveal comes with the launch of an official website, which you can check out here.
