The video covers everything from the basics of combat and the stamina system to crafting items and outfitting the tarnished. It’s well worth a watch for anyone who is new to Souls games.
Elden Ring is the first open-world Souls game from developer FromSoftware. The developer has been making Souls games since 2009 so Elden Ring is a big departure in terms of how much players can do. It’s therefore easy to be overwhelmed and lost in the game. Veteran players will enjoy figuring out what to do and where to go as they play the game. Elden Ring was released today to rave reviews. The game received nearly unanimous perfect scores from reviewers and became the highest-ranked game ever on Opencritic. Although, like with most games these days, the game has been released with some performance issues. Bandai Namco quickly released a statement detailing important fixes that are planned. It doesn’t cover all of the issues that players have but hopefully, it means the companies are listening to fan feedback.
