Star Wars Battlefront Has High Replay Value, Claims DICE Dev

July 6, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

DICE’s devs also explain the game’s single player campaign.

How excited are you for Star Wars Battlefront? DICE makes an exceptional promise regarding the game.

Based upon personal assessment, one of the devs claims that Star Wars Battlefront has a really high replay value. The devs have been making bets among themselves playing the game, with prizes like crates of beer up for grabs. The devs have been particularly playing Tatooine over and over, and finding it fun to change up tactics every time with a new team.

They also talked about the single player component, which really wasn’t planned to be there from the start. The idea was to have fans recreate Star Wars’ classic battles over online play. As such, the single player section won’t have a narrative campaign. However, DICE promises a set of single player missions that will allow you to make the most of the game world and Battlefront’s mechanics without having to play online. No word on how many missions or how long these missions will cumulatively be.

Star Wars Battlefront will release on November 17 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Do you believe DICE’s claims of the game’s replayability? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
