Enter the Ninja in Ronin, a Turn-Based Action Platformer

June 30, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Ronin is out for the PC, Mac and Linux.

Game developer Tomasz Waclawek has produced a turn-based action platformer called Ronin. It's just come out of Early Access and is available on the PC, Linux and Mac.

Originally released as a freeware title, the game has been massively worked on with a proper budget to give it wings, thanks to Devolver Digital. There's all new features including UI indicators, open-ended mission progression, and more—all of which was developed with the help of the Early Access community.

Playing the role of a ninja, players must hunt down and kill members of a corporation throughout a series of levels.

It plays very much like Mark of the Ninja, if that game had turn-based combat. Watch the trailer above.

Ronin and its Digital Special Edition are available on Steam, GOG and Humble Store for $12.99/£9.99/€12.99 price for the standard game and $19.99/£14.99/€19.99 price for the Digital Special Edition. The game's launch sees it being sold at a 25% discount.
