Capcom has officially announced Monster Hunter 4 for the Nintendo 3DS at Nintendo's pre-TGS 3DS Conference. The upcoming iteration in the series will expand the franchise on Nintendo's latest handheld which has received a weak response since launch. Price, details and a release date are yet to be announced.

The game was revealed with a short, but impressive video showing new gameplay features with a strong focus on platforming and the player taking on some huge beasts. We'll be updating the post with the video as soon as we get our hands on it. Expect more new titles to be announced in the coming days with TGS just around the corner.
