The Elder Scrolls Online Gets a 15GB Patch on PS4

Bethesda has released a new update for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited on PlayStation 4 that clocks in at a hefty 15GB. The size of the patch is due to the fact that it contains updates from patches 01.01 through 01.03, according to the publisher.

"In addition to improving overall in-game performance, we have improved the queue system screen and some of the more common in-game crashes," Bethesda wrote before the full patch notes. "We have also reduced the frequency in which you’ll run into invisible NPCs, though note that this is an ongoing work in progress. Finally, we’ve addressed several issues relating to art, gameplay, quests, UI, and more."

The patch has made changes to Alliance War, art and animation, combat and gameplay, and dungeons among other features which are listed in the patch notes.

"We understand having to download such a large patch is frustrating and not ideal, and are actively working to ensure future ESOTU PS4 patches are not cumulative," Bethesda explained.

This patch follows a 15GB day-one patch for the game.
