2K Sports has announced that the Special Edition of NBA 2K16 will star Micheal Jordan on the cover. This version will set you back $80 and is only available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Included with the limited version of the game is a Jordan poster, a Jordan Fathead wall cling, digital Jordan shoes, a t-shirt and jersey for MyPlayer, 30,000 virtual currency, three emerald packs, and a new exclusive moments card for MyTeam VIP mode.
This is the third time Jordan – who was NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls six times and was all star 14 times – will appear on the cover. His likeness was previously featured on the cover of NBA 2K11 and NBA 2K12.
The standard editin of NBA 2K16 features Stephen Curry, James Harden, and Anthony Davis on the cover and Oscar winning director Spike Lee has been drafted in to write and direct the game's MyCareer mode.
NBA 2K16 is set for release on September 29th, but players who pre-order will be able to play four days early.
