Naruto Storm 4 Reveals Full Fury Of Eight Gates Might Guy

June 23, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

Rock Lee’s mentor didn’t just go toe to toe with Six Paths Madara, he beat him.

Bandai Namco have shared the latest batch of screenshots for Naruto Storm 4. Once again, we see pics of Six Paths Madara, but also a new reveal, Eight Gates Might Guy.

Might Guy, Konoha's Sublime Green Beast of Prey, is a jonin-sensei, Kakashi’s contemporary and one time rival, Rock Lee’s teacher, and certainly one of the most powerful ninja in the series. I can’t really do justice to his character in this article, but I can talk about his most powerful technique, Eight Gates Released.

The Eight Gates refer to eight tenketsu, which act as gates, limiting the amount of chakra that flows in a person’s body. Ninja who can open the gates can unlock latent, superhuman abilities, but at the cost of intense damage to their body, and even death.

Might Guy proves he is one of the most physically powerful ninja in Konoha, by his ability to open all Eight Gates. A normal person would have expired from his or her body being reduced to ash by the intense amount of energy released, compared to literally cooking one’s body from within.

As you may already know, of course, this does not happen to Might Guy, as he uses his Eight Gates Released form to actually beat Madara. The aftermath of this fight led to Might Guy’s retirement as a ninja, but of course, in Naruto Storm 4 you can use his most powerful form as many times as you like.
