A trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has been released today, showcasing four-player cooperative gameplay in the game’s campaign mode.
The trailer begins by explaining a feature in the game called “Cyber Core,” a cybernetic implant placed in the player character and his teammates. The Cyber Core will provide various enhancements to the player character such as improved dexterity, quicker speed, and more. New to the series will be the option to “approach the game with a different strategy each time they play,” allowing for some diversity in how a Call of Duty game’s campaign mode is played. As usual, much of the campaign mode is highly cinematic, placing large setpiece moments in the spotlight.
Black Ops 3was showcased this week at Sony’s E3 2015 press conference, wherein it was announced that the previous Activision-Microsoft deal for timed-exclusivity to DLC on Xbox platforms has been shifted over to PlayStation. This timed exclusivity will last 30 days before coming to other platforms, exactly like the previous deal with Microsoft. It will launch on November 6, 2015 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
