Life is Strange is an iconic franchise at this point as the original title launched back in 2015. Originally developed under Dontnod Entertainment, this game was released as an episodic adventure. Here, players took the role of Max Caulfield, a young photography student that suddenly found herself back in the town she grew up in, Arcadia Bay. Attending a prestigious school, Max discovers she possesses the power to rewind time.
Through the use of this power, Max rekindles her friendship with her childhood best friend, Chloe Price. However, the duo soon begins to uncover something sinister has happened within the town. This game blew up in popularity as fans loved the narrative journey Dontnod Entertainment crafted up. Most of the gameplay is centered on dialogue choices, exploration, and puzzle solving. Recently, Briarfire_ took to the internet and showcased her cosplay of the leading protagonist, Max Caulfield.
Max Caulfield is practically pulled right out of the video game. With the hairstyle, makeup, grey jacket, pink Jane top, and the iconic Polaroid camera, Briafire_ pulled off a great cosplay of the character. Also, you’ll find that the cosplayer edited in the iconic blue butterfly.
Fortunately, this game franchise is still going strong, but if you want to replay the original installment and even the prequel, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, you can do so through the recent Life is Strange Remastered release. Meanwhile, there are also additional installments for the franchise readily available to go through. Those being Life is Strange 2 and Life is Strange: True Colors. Although, you won’t find Max within those game installments.
