XCOM 2 Live Gameplay Demonstration Showcases Sweet Isometric Action

IGN put out a seven-minute demonstration of XCOM 2 showcasing how missions are set to take place within the game's lengthy campaign. Within the demonstration, a squad of XCOM agents invade an alien-occupied city, dispatching a wide variety of alien forces and their allies. 

The gameplay footage gives us a good look at one of the procedurally generated levels, an alien snake creature that can pull units from far away and choke them to death, melee attacks, exploding vehicles, and more. 

The footage is followed by an interview with the game's producer Garth DeAngelis, who explains what's happening on screen during the demo. 

XCOM 2 comes out for the PC this November.
