Proficiencies are a completely new feature in Modern Warfare 3. A proficiency is an extra perk that goes along your primary weapon. They are unlocked much like attachments. As you level up and complete challenges with your primary weapon, you will unlock new proficiencies for that weapon.
- Kick: Reduces the amount of recoil on your weapon.
- Range: Increases the range of your weapon.
- Impact: Bullets carry more damage through materials.
- Attachments: Two attachments can be added to a weapon.
- Focus: Reduced flinch when you are being shot.
- Breath: Hold breath while aiming down the sights.
- Stability: Reduces sway on your gun.
- Speed: Allows for faster movement while equipping primary weapon.
- Damage: Allows your shotgun shells to do more damage.
