Broken Sword 5 Heads to Consoles This Summer

June 9, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse is heading to console platforms.

Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse was successfully funded on Kickstarter and is set for release on consoles this Summer.

The long-running adventure game series has its roots on the PC but will be heading to console platforms later this year, following its release on the PC, PS Vita, iOS and Android.

ACcording to the developers at Revolution Software, the console version of the title will be enhanced with new animation and audio, a character gallery, and a variety of "console-specific enhancements" no doubt relating to the game's control scheme, which is typically handled with a mouse and keyboard.

Players once again assume the roles of Nico Collard and George Stobbart, who are teamed up in this adventure to track down a stolen painting. They uncover an ancient conspiracy while on the chase, because why wouldn't they?

Watch the promo video below for a look at the game.
