Gran Turismo 7 Developers Tease New Screenshots

January 4, 2022 by Dennis Patrick

Check out the latest screenshots from the development team.

There are a few staple franchises for different video game platforms. For instance, Microsoft has Forza, while Sony features the Gran Turismo series for racing games. Gran Turismo has been around since the original PlayStation console. If you’re waiting on the next game installment, we’re getting close to the fabled release date. The developers are also further hyping up Gran Turismo 7 by offering some new screenshots.

The Gran Turismo franchise is a racing simulation series. There is a wide selection of car classes and tracks. However, some of those tracks continue to get featured within the game. One of those tracks that have been featured prior is the High Speed Ring. This track should be familiar to fans who have been following the game franchise over the years. Now, you’ll be able to see how this particular track will look through the power of a PlayStation 5.

Development team Polyphony Digital took to Twitter and shared three track images. Unfortunately, we don’t have any footage or races within the track. Although with that said, you’ll be able to view how the environment will look. The three different images feature everything from the crowds, track pavement, and lighting effects. We’re sure that even more footage and screenshots will come out as we heard towards the release date.

After all, Gran Turismo 7 will be released on March 4, 2022. That’s just a couple of months away unless there are any unexpected delays. If not, then players will get this game on the PlayStation 5. Likewise, you’ll also find this game on the PlayStation 4, which is certainly a welcomed release. Unfortunately, the PlayStation 5 is extremely difficult to find available through retailers, so having access to this game on the previous generation console platform will still get quite a bit of attention.
