Early Bard’s Tale 4 Backers to Receive Free Game

Consumers who decide to pledge an amount of $20 or more to inXile’s next Kickstarter campaign, The Bard’s Tale 4, in the first 24 hours will receive a free copy of either The Witcher, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, or Wasteland 2, another of inXile’s Kickstarter-funded video games.

The Kickstarter campaign for The Bard’s Tale 4 will begin Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 9 a.m. ET, marking the 30^th anniversary of the release of the original Bard’s Tale. The 24 hours following the launch of the campaign will be the only window of opportunity for a copy of one of the aforementioned free games. Fulfillment of those free games will occur at the end of the Kickstarter campaign.

"This is our way to show our gratitude to those who continue to support us," inXile boss Brian Fargo said. "We're also very happy to be working with our friends at CD Projekt, who have shown they understand the right way to treat your fans!"

The Bard’s Tale 4 was officially announced via Fargo’s Twitter account this past January. It will follow the spirit of the original trilogy from the 80s.
