Dead by Daylight Offering Players 250,000 Bloodpoints

December 28, 2021 by Dennis Patrick

Claim your Bloodpoints today!

It’s been a hectic few days for gamers. There’s been an influx of online activity that has taken down servers for a little while. That’s not something you would like to deal with, especially during the holiday season. If you were looking to enjoy Dead by Daylight, you might have found some server issues popping up as well. That’s something that has already been resolved. However, it looks like the developers want to provide gamers with something for their troubles.

Announced through Twitter, it looks like players will be able to acquire 250,000 Bloodpoints. This is due to the recent server outage. So again, if you couldn’t enjoy the game, here’s something for your troubles. It’s a nice incentive for picking up the game this week. After all, you can spend these Bloodpoints and unlock some useful picks from the Bloodweb. That should allow players a nice jump towards any unlocks you were gunning for prior to the server mishap.

As a measure of ho-ho-holiday goodwill for yesterday's outage and the soon-to-be-resolved issue with finding your friends in-game, log in anytime before January 6th at 23:59 (ET) to receive 250k Bloodpoints! pic.twitter.com/IKNMXZi4Ok

Dead by Daylight throws together a group of survivors against an opposing player that controls a monster for those a bit more unaware of what this game is. Here, the survivors have various goals to complete in order to escape the area. Meanwhile, the opposing player is scavenging the map to find each survivor and slaughter them. Survivors can get knocked down a few times. Then there’s the ability of friends to come to their aid and rescue them.

To keep things a bit interesting, there are a ton of different crossovers available that bring more characters and maps into the game. We have seen Dead by Daylight include horror movies, television series, and even other video games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. You have until January 6, 2022, so don’t wait too long before logging into the title to claim your gift.
