Modder JulioNIB has released a mod for Grand Theft Auto 5 that gives players access to a grappling hook, much like the one famous in Just Cause 2.
Just like in Just Cause 2, with this mod players will be able to slingshot their way from vehicle to vehicle in quick succession and even tether two vehicles together, like a helicopter to a cop car (as seen in the video below).
Other features made available by this mod include:
· Attach hook to buildings, peds and vehicles
· Attach multiple entities (shoot and hold aim)
· Fly to the hook attach position on building or vehicles (shoot and release aim)
· Pull peds with hook (shoot and release aim)
· Use parachute while in mid-air (while flying to hook position)
JulioNIB plans to add these features in a future version of the mod:
· Be able to steal vehicles while standing on their roof
· Be able to steal helicopters while "hooked" to the heli
· Be able to attach objects too
