Batman: Arkham Knight’s Three Main Characters Designs Explored

May 22, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Batman, Arkham Knight and Scarecrow have their designs explained.

We're just a few weeks away from the release of Batman: Arkham Knight–which is good, because that's how long we'll be playing The Witcher 3 for.

Continuing Rocksteady Studios' weekly community show called Arkham Insider, the studio has released the third episode of the show, this time showcasing three main characters from the upcoming game. It goes into deep detail about the game's key characters. As always the developers take questions from the community and answer them.

In this episode of Arkham Insider, the developers delve deep into the creation and designs of three of the game's major characters, including the mysterious Arkham Knight, commander of the army that invades Gotham City.

Also on display is Scarecrow, the mastermind who's coordinating the rogue's gallery of forces arrayed against the Batman as a collective force of evil. We haven't seen him since Arkham Asylum, so some of his aesthetic has changed. He's badder than ever, and he hates the Dark Knight.

Finally, there's Batman, whose new armor is shown off, who looks heavily militarized this time around.

Watch the show below.
