May 21, 2015 by Michael Fossbakk

Beta will run through June 8, 2015.

Ubisoft announced Thursday that the closed beta for Might & Magic Heroes 7 will begin on May 25, 2015 at 9 a.m. PDT and conclude on June 8, 2015 at 9 a.m. PDT.

The beta is available to all who have pre-ordered the next entry in the Might & Magic franchise. Players will be able to play at their own leisure against computer-controlled opponents or other players in the beta under the Haven and Academy factions across two skirmish maps. The beta supports up to four players simultaneously in either team-based or free-for-all competition.

In April, Ubisoft announced, in addition to a Standard Edition, a Deluxe Edition and Collector’s Edition will be available at launch. The Deluxe Edition includes the game plus:

  • The official soundtrack in digital format
  • Might & Magic Heroes III HD Edition
  • Additional in-game content including a new Hero and extra scenario-map

While the Collector’s Edition is only available through the Ubisoft uPlay Shop and includes the game plus:

  • A Collector’s Edition box
  • A 26-cm Yvan figurine displaying Yvan proudly posing after a brilliant victory on the battlefield
  • An Artbook
  • The official soundtrack in digital format
  • Two lithographies
  • A full-customized tarot game
  • Additional in-game content including a new Hero and an extra scenario-map

Might & Magic Heroes 7, announced in August 2014 at Gamescom, releases in September 2015, and is being developed by Limbic Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.
