Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is Way more Attractive Than it Should Be

September 2, 2011 by Josh Wanamaker

Totally passed-over FPS game Ghost Warrior 2 uses Crytek’s CryEngine 3, and it certainly shows.

While the voice acting in this gameplay trailer of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is pretty awful, the look of the game strikes me as being something more akin to a FarCry title than one of these "cheapo" FPS titles. That makes perfect sense, of course, since City Interactive licensed CryEngine 3 from Crytek to make it! Ah, what a next-gen engine can do for a franchise.
