The Legend of Zelda Announcement Rumored For The Game Awards

Nov 19, 2021 Dennis Patrick

Prominent Nintendo leaker has fans eager for The Game Awards.

The Legend of Zelda is a highly beloved video game franchise and one of the most recognized Nintendo IPs. This year we were celebrating the 35th anniversary of the franchise. One of the ways Nintendo did so was by delivering The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword remastered edition. While 2021 has been just as rough with the pandemic, some fans were hopeful more content would be coming out.

Today, we’re finding out that a reliable industry insider named Samus Hunter tweeted some potentially exciting news. The individual suggested that fans find Nintendo continuing to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the IP during the upcoming The Game Awards show. Unfortunately, we don’t know just what exactly Nintendo will be bringing out. Samus Hunter wasn’t providing any more information than that either.

The Game Awards is an event that happens annually. Here the industry gathers together and provides different awards to developers, actors, and content creators. With several categories and special guests appearing to present the awards, we’re normally given some new trailers for upcoming video games. Some of these titles have already been unveiled, while others are completely new debut reveals.

Perhaps one of these trailers will be an announcement towards something related to The Legend of Zelda. Unfortunately, we’re again just waiting on the show to get here in order to find out. In fact, one of the games that fans have been waiting on is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. Either way, we’ll have to wait until December 9, 2021, for the event to officially kick-off to find out.
