Batman Arkham Knight: New Poster, Weapon, And Special Edition

May 13, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

Seriously, the new latest edition is a must buy for the diehard Batman collector.

We have a great batch of new details for Batman Arkham Knight, including a new poster, a new weapon, and a new special edition.

The poster gives us a closer look at Nightwing, AKA Dick Grayson. Nightwing wields his dual escrima sticks, and stares back at the viewer with a serious expression.

Batman has a new toy that will help players set up their tactics and cause serious damage to enemies, even while he’s at the scanning and planning phase. The disruptor gun jams enemy weapons, and can also cause them to explode, as well as make weapon crates shock enemies. You can also tag vehicles for Batman to be able to follow later.

This Disruptor also comes with a scope, helpful in checking out every nook and cranny of a battlefield prior to engagement. There is also a host of upgrades available for the Disruptor, such as an additional charge to the default three charge shots.

Finally, Warner Bros Interactive unveiled a special, or should we say, Serious Edition for the game. Batman Arkham Knight: Serious Edition comes with a 1st appearance Batman skin as well as an limited edition 25th anniversary hardcover of Batman Arkham Asylum – A Serious House on Serious Earth. While Rocksteady was free to create their Batman games in their own image, they actually took a lot of inspiration from this novel for their own Arkham Aslyum games. In particular, this novel defined Arkham Asylum as not just a penal facility, but a living, breathing home for Arkham’s worst, which was changing its own inhabitants as much as they were changing it. For the hardcore Batman fan, this is a must buy.

Batman Arkham Knight will be released on June 23 for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
