Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy Free for a Limited Time

November 9, 2021 by Carley Garcia

Grab ’em while they’re hot.

Free games are always a great way to start the day and to celebrate the company’s 35th anniversary, Ubisoft is celebrating with a triple-threat. Currently, the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy Pack is available on PC via Ubisoft Connect. This includes Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia, and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China. The promotion is going on until November 12, so just be sure to snag them by Friday. Once these are in your library, you’ll have them for good.

Introducing new protagonists and unique gameplay components not seen anywhere else in the franchise, each game was inspired by traditional brush paintings. Players can access a large selection of weapons, including throwing knives, daggers, and a perfectly spy-like shoe blade. As one would expect from an Assassin’s Creed game, players are required to use stealth tactics to complete their missions. Though these China, India, and Russia spin-off titles didn’t receive the same fanfare as main games in the franchise, they’re worth playing–especially for free. Those who want to know more about the Assassin’s Creed universe will find plenty of lore here, and each title is diverse enough to keep a player’s interest. The main characters are members of the Hidden Ones, the first incarnation of what would become the Assassin Brotherhood. Each also has a unique combat style and weapons selection.

Previously, Ubisoft stated that two free PC games would be available prior to December 19, with the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy Pack being the first. It’s unclear what the next free game will be, but we’ll be sure to report back once it’s announced in the coming weeks.

The Assassin’s Creed Chronicles trilogy is now available for free on Ubisoft Connect until November 12, 2021. The three 2.5D side-scrolling platformers were originally released in 2015 and 2016 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
