Battlefield Hardline DLC: Criminal Activity Announced

May 8, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Criminal Activity is set to include four new maps and a bunch of toys for players.

The recently released FPS from Visceral Games and EA, Battlefield Hardline, is set to receive its first DLC map pack in the form of Criminal Activity, which delivers night maps, environmental destruction and a few new toys for players to play with.

As the first DLC release, Criminal Activity is set to include four new maps and a bunch of new weapons for players to arm themselves with.

According to the game’s multiplayer producer Zach Mumbach, two of the four maps will take place at night, and each of the four maps will have a stronger emphasis on destruction in comparison to maps in the vanilla version of the game. New vehicles will also be added into the mix.

Like the main game, the maps will take place in a modern setting in locations like California and Florida.

Naturally, the game’s developers will be doing a lot with the game’s Premium stuff, but they also plan to support players who just bought the game and aren’t necessarily subscribers of the service.

Criminal Activity doesn’t yet have a release date, but it’s planned for release this summer. Expect it to come out first for Premium subscribers.
