Tom Clancy’s The Division: Behind the Music Featurette

May 8, 2015 by Jacob Saylor

Learn what it takes to make video game music.

In a new video featurette published by the Ubisoft

Youtube channel, gamers get some insight as to how hard it is to develop video game music. In the video, we follow the career of Ola Strandh, The Division's composer. He then talks about what challenges are present in crafting a soundtrack for The Division, specifically.

In the video, Strandh says that he has tried to use instruments that were played early on in the construction of American society, given that that world is collapsing in The Division. You can check out the video for yourself right here:

Tom Clancy's: The Division is slated for release at a nondescript time later this year. Considering we've not yet gotten a concrete release date for the game, it's possible that The Division gets pushed back into 2016. More information on the game's release date should be available when E3 2015 rolls around next month.

The Division will release on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
