The Elder Scrolls Online PS4 and Xbox One Trailer Explores Choice and Freedom in Tamriel

May 7, 2015 by Stephen Daly

The console version of The Elder Scrolls Online coming next month.

Bethesda has released a new trailer for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited which explores the game's various features ahead of the game's console launch in June.

The trailer examines how players choose race, alliance, class, ability specialisations, and playstyle in the game. Bethesda told Eurogamer the footage is from the game's latest console build, but declined to comment on which platform it's from.

The Elder Scrolls Online entered closed beta last month and launches for PS4 and Xbox One on June 9th, complete with a 15GB day one patch. Bethesda justified the sizable compulsory update on the basis that the game is bigger than a Blu-ray disc's 50GB storage space.

While The Elder Scrolls Online originally launched with a subscription fee, the game no longer incurs a monthly charge – once you buy the game, you can play it in full.
