The Witcher 3’s Latest Screenshots Feature City and Wilderness Environments

May 6, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

The Witcher 3 is almost upon us.

CD Projekt RED, the makers of The Witcher 3, have published four new screenshots of the upcoming fantasy-themed role-playing game.

Players take on the role of Geralt of Rivia, a titular 'Witcher' who makes a living by hunting down fantasy monsters and beasts throughout the medieval countryside.

Yesterday, The Witcher 3's developer released another developer diary that details the game's enemies and creatures. They discuss how each enemy has its own weaknesses that you, playing as Geralt, must discover. Furthermore, the developer revealed that they have garnished the game with a living, breathing ecosystem. You can check that out here.

The Witcher 3 is out on May 19th and will be the first title supported by Good Old Games' GOG galaxy Service, a Steam-like platform that features DRM-free titles. It'll also be out on Steam for the PC. The game is also slated for release on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 both digitally and via physical copy.
