Grand Theft Auto V Sells Two Million Copies on PC in Under a Month

April 30, 2015 by Jacob Saylor

An impressive outing for the PC port.

Grand Theft Auto V was initially released in September 2013, developed by the illustrious Rockstar Games. It broke numerous records upon its debut, shattering any misconceptions that the game wouldn't be the biggest Grand Theft Auto yet. We're well into 2015 at this point and Grand Theft Auto V maintains its place in the headlines.

The PC version of Grand Theft Auto V recently made it to veritable store shelves. It's been selling quite well on Valve's Steam service, once again breaking records – even if they are a bit smaller than before.

According to statistics published by SteamSpy, Grand Theft Auto V has  sold over two million copies in under a month. The PC version of the game released on April 13, 2015, which means that there is still plenty of time for GTA 5 to sell more copies in a thirty day period.

It will be interesting to see just how far Grand Theft Auto V can run before it finally starts slowing down. Keep your eyes on Gameranx for all the latest gaming news.
