The Most Awesome GTA 5 Explosion Only Possible On PC

April 15, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

This explosion, caused by a bug in GTA 5, is out of this world.

One Grand Theft Auto 5 player, James McVinnie, has experienced a weird bug in the game's PC version that causes a massive pileup of vehicles involving trucks, cars, and motorbikes. A few seconds after the pile-up occurs, the vehicles explode in a shower of flames and metal.

The player recorded the explosion 17 times, but uploaded what he considers to be the best instance of the explosion, which he says is "by far [his] favorite."

The explosion looks absolutely insane and it can only happen on the PC version of GTA 5, as other versions do not appear to have the same bug.  It should be noted that the video also showcases the power of the Rockstar Editor video directing tool, which is pretty sweet to play around with.
