Project X Zone 2 Announced For 3DS, Releasing Fall 2015

April 13, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

A new batch of fan favorites are joining the game’s roster.

Bandai Namco has revealed Project X Zone 2, coming to 3DS this fall in the US.

Details are scarce, but Bandai Namco also revealed that the original Project X Zone sold 400,000 copies, making it worthwhile for them to make this sequel. Once again, the game is a mega-crosover of Bandai Namco, SEGA, and Capcom properties, and is developed by Nintendo-owned Monolith Soft.

These characters have been announced to be coming into the new game:

SEGA:

o   Erica Fontaine and Ichiro Ogami from Sakura Wars

o   Hotsuma from Shinobi (2002)

o   Akira Yuki and Kage from Virtua Fighter

o   Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima from Yakuza: Dead Souls

Capcom:

o   Dante and Virgil from Devil May Cry

o   X and Zero from Mega Man X

o   Leon from Resident Evil 6

o   Chris and Jill from Resident Evil: Revelations

o   Strider from the Strider series

Bandai Namco:

o   Kite from .hack

o   Haseo from .hack//G.U.

o   Natsu from Soulcalibur V

o   Yuri Lowell and Flynn Scifo from Tales of Vesperia

o   Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima from Tekken
