This trailer for Funcom's The Secret World gives a bit of backstory to the crazy MMORPG, and touches a bit on the fact that the game apparently has a persistant-world conflict going on, between the three player factions. It seems fighting against a demonic scourge hasn't banded the Templars (Europe), Illuminati (Americas), and Dragon (Asia) together as tightly as everyone might assume. While they'll fight against demons together, that won't stop them from immediately turning around and shooting up their allies once all the demons are dead. Humanity can't really survive under those circumstances, you know?
